Affectionately called “Secret Hideout”, our 2016 Keystone Hideout 24BHSWE serves as a frequent weekend getaway for us.  This 28-foot travel trailer was a huge upgrade for us from our previous 18 foot Jayco 184BH.  In the post “Welcome to our Secret Hideout” we outlined the main reasons for upgrading, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision.

Modifications / Enhancements / Upgrades

• Inside
  • Converted U shaped dinette to a traditional booth dinette
  • Removal of the front panel covering the under bunk storage
  • Added a Camco 36543 Pump Converter Winterizing Kit
  • Upgraded bathroom fan to a Fantastic Fan
  • Added many Command Hooks
  • Added entryway key holder
  • Added toilet paper roll holder to cabinet in bathroom
  • Replace all lights with LEDs
  • Added pictures and other decorative items
• Outside
  • Replaced entry door lock with an RVLock V4.0
  • Installed a Blue Sea Systems 285-Series Surface Mount 50A Circuit Breaker on the house battery
  • Reinforced the rear bumper and added a Curt 19100 bumper mount hitch that holds a Swagman 4-Bike standard rack
  • Had a custom hose built to plugin BBQ to quick connect under outdoor kitchen
  • Installed a Camco 25563 AccuLevel on the front of the trailer
  • We use a Camco 51490 Black Chair Rack on the rear ladder
  • Put a Swagman bumper hitch receiver, vertically mounted on the rear bumper for a flagpole holder
  • Replaced the mouse hole power cord with a Furrion 30A twistlock conversion kit
